Where Are They Now?

Henry Anderson Stanford Stand-out

henry-andersonFormer NYO 3 sport star Henry Anderson, who went on to star in 3 sports at Woodward Academy, is making his mark as a top-notch defensive end and sack-master for the Stanford Cardinals. Henry is a formadible 6 foot 6 inch 278 lbs. defensive end.

Photo shown happens at the end of the Arizona game, in overtime, AZ had the ball first, and on third down and goal, Henry tipped the pass at the line of scrimmage and his teammate intercepted the batted pass. Stanford won the game two plays later.

NYO Coach Randy Rhino recalls more game saving impact back when Henry was 12 - I gave Henry the pill (baseball) in a win or go home game in Cooperstown, NY against a team from Miami I believe that had already 10 runned us in pool play. Henry goes out and pitches a complete game and hits a home run to boot! That game propelled us to the semis at Dreamspark Cooperstown!
