NYO ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

NYO is proud to announce the hiring of Josh Burr as NYO’s new executive director.  Josh will step in for Tony Watkins, who will be leaving the position to become the Athletic Director of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School.

Josh comes from the Galloway School, where he most recently held the position of athletic director at that school.  “We are very excited that Josh will be joining NYO” said NYO president Allan Gottlieb.  “He has extensive experience working with the people in the NYO and Chastain Park community, and he brings an impressive record of success from his tenure at Galloway with him.”  Josh said “I have worked with NYO extensively over the years, and I am excited to be a part of growing their programs and continuing to develop their youth sports offerings for the children in our area.”  Josh will assume his executive director duties at NYO in early August.

NYO, which has operated out of Chastain Park for over 50 years, is the largest multisport youth sports program in the State of Georgia.  NYO offers baseball, softball, boys basketball, girls basketball, football, cheerleading and a challenger program, for ages 4 to 17.
